In the San Gregorio Residence Hall we want to offer our residents a stay which is highly adapted to their needs during their years of study in Oviedo, without leaving aside the other residents who have chosen this Residence Hall as the best accommodation option for their short stays.
These are the services included with accommodation and at no extra cost:
- Laundry room (using coins)
- Daily cleaning of the rooms (except on Sundays)
- Change of bed linen and towels
- Security service in the building (doorman, concierge and reception services during 24 hours a day)
- Customised attention
- Own parking area
- Vending machines
Besides, residents may also use and enjoy the sports facilities next to the Hall which belong to the University using the sports card:
- Track and field circuit
- Football field
- Sauna
- Acclimatized swimming pool
- Fitness room
- Tennis court
- External circuit for several sports
- Changing room
And several agreements have been signed in order our residents to be granted discounts for the use of other facilities in “El Cristo Campus”, of the Oxys gym and in the University Hostel of the Vallgrande Pajares Skiing Station, having 20% discount for courses and activities.
Sports Card
Application
The sports card may be applied for by submitting the identification card specifying the status of PDI, PAS or any other document which is an evidence of being studying during the present academic year (Application Form)
Prices
- PDI, PAS and Students: 20 €
- Ex-athletes (who have already been members of teams of the University for, at least, three years): 20 €
- Non-university people: 90 €
- Duplicate of the sports card: 3 €
Advantages of the sports card
- 20% discount in individual activities and 40% discount in group activities, over the prices specified by the City Council of Mieres
- Discounts for the sports facilities in Gijón
